NOTES OF THE WINEMAKER
PIWI are grape varieties resistant to fungal diseases. They are the result of constant research
of man and of a selection, which has been going on for several decades, of GMO-free crossings between
Vitis Vinifera (wine varieties) and Virginia creeper (disease resistant
fungi), admitted to all effects for the production of quality wines. The advantage
is the minimum number of treatments carried out and the consequent environmental impact
for their cultivation.

GRAPES: Prior

VINIFICATION
After a short maceration on the skins, the Prior grapes, which give rise to this wine, are destemmed and undergo a soft pressing. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature and at the end the malolactic fermentation is triggered. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle through the residual sugars of the first fermentation, at a temperature of 15°C and lasts about 2 months. Sparkling wine with the bottom.

ORGANOLEPTIC NOTES
Intense and veiled pink colour. On the nose a slight hint of crusty bread, characteristic of wines with the base. It immediately gives way to intense notes of red fruit such as wild strawberry and pomegranate but also to citrus notes of pink grapefruit and orange. Harmonious, pleasant and drinkable wine.

Alcohol content: 11% vol.
Residual Sugar: <1 gr/lt

NOTES OF THE SOMMELIER
Service temperature: to be served at 4°C-6°C.
Combinations: we propose to experiment with new and unusual combinations with
flavors and aromas of this still little-known wine. We recommend
gently turn the bottle upside down for a PIWI EXPERIENCE tasting
completely innovative.

The label of "Hurrà" is "narrative": we invite you to open it and read all the stages
of the Pizzolato journey into the world of PIWI! Hurrah is the cry of the crew. The name
was inspired by and honors the female pirate, Sayyida al-Hurra, called the “Lioness of
Morocco".
