Three years of aging in oak and chestnut barrels to then find the ideal temple in the mouth to express all the power and austerity of its flavour. Reference to the ancient riverbeds, to the stones, to the sun. A ruby ​​red emotion that lasts and then surprises with notes of violet.

SENSORY PROFILE
Intense and dense ruby ​​color, with incipient garnet reflections, very consistent. Stratified aromas are given a little at a time: persuasive sensations of cherry jam, plum, undergrowth, dark chocolate and rhubarb. Taste impact of marked freshness, denotes vigor and respectable tannic texture. Long fruity persistence.

TECHNICAL AND ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS

Name: Raboso Piave DOC.
Grape variety: Raboso Piave 100%.
Vineyards: Tezze di Piave (TV).
Ground: Loose and well drained alluvial soil, deriving from the sedimentation over the centuries of gravel debris brought by the floods of the Piave river.
Climate: Continental – average annual rainfall of 1250 mm.
Plant: Guyot, Bellussi.
Density: 4,000 per acre.
Surrender: Maximum 135 quintals per hectare.
Harvest: 1 – 10 November

VINIFICATION
Soft pressing in a pneumatic press, sedimentation of the must and fermentation at a controlled temperature. 25 days of maceration. 20% of the grapes were dried in the loft for 35 days. The wine is aged in new and used wood (barriques and tonneaux) for 12 months. It then rests in the bottle for another 16 months.
