Tenuta Piolino was born to never forget the death of Daniele's father, owner of the company who has been able to collaborate in an authentic way with small artisan producers of wine, spirits and beer around his territory of origin: Bologna.
The first born was a grappa made for Christmas following the death of the father with a personalized label that reminded him to be given as a gift to relatives.
Obviously the artisan distiller that Daniele contacted made himself available for production but the minimum print run far exceeded the number of relatives and friends.
But Daniele is stubborn and had made up his mind to complete what he had started to do, taking advantage of the professional channels of his work with the world of catering and distribution.
What happened next was unexpected.
The response and interest in grappa led to "many" requests for reorganization. At that point, the idea of creating something newthat combined the passion for the world of spirits and wines with a real profession arose .
Daniele began to study and research the path that best suited his case, a path made of researching the name, the craftsmen to work with and the types of products to be made. Last but not least, the search for excellence in the materials to be used .
All this has led to a careful selection from which the bottles of Tenuta Piolino are born.
Daniele has put together the artisans who work with passion and worked to bring together the taste of each product with that of the territory of origin, always paying attention to the communication in the labels which in fact are photos taken personally by Daniele himself and then elaborated by his graphic designer. .
The wines are born from the research of a medium-small cellar that uses its experience to produce natural wines and that distances itself from those that are the most common consumption of wine. The choice of opting for a company from Pavia is precisely to avoid comparisons with large producers present in other areas, making Tenuta Piolino wines simply unique.
In their bottles you can find nature, the true taste of the hand-picked raw material , processed as it once was, without artificial additions. These are the values that Daniele wants to preserve with his project and his collaborating artisans.
